Inside Big Max USA Headquarters

The biggest part of the game is having the right equipment. From your clubs and accessories to the way your clubs are transported during the round it all makes a difference.  Big Max is Europe’s leading 3 wheel cart manufacturer and since they came to the United States they have revolutionized the way golfers are able to get around the course.

Having had the opportunity to meet up with Mike McKugh I was able to see first hand the inner workings of Big Max USA before stepping out on the course and enjoying a round. First stop was the Big Max warehouse where all the carts, bags and accessories are stored floor to ceiling.  The inventory on hand here in the USA is impressive to say the least. Being able to quickly and easily get their products into the hands of dealers and individual golfers is something that Big Max takes great pride in. I was impressed by the way an order came in, was filled, and shipped out all while I was touring the facility.

Next I was shown how important it is to have your equipment in top notch condition and what you can do at home to make sure it remains that way.  With the new found knowledge of how to align my trolley cart at home I am ready for whatever happens. From top to bottom everyone at Big Max USA takes great pride in the product.

A tour of the showroom allowed me to see some of the exciting new products being brought to market as well as the already proven favorites.  Introducing new accessories and golf bags are an important way for Big Max to diversify and allow golfers to use their products in all facets of the game. I even took this as an opportunity to make a few suggestions of my own.  A USA golf cart would look very nice with the Folds of Honor logo on the side.

Having seen the inner workings it was now time to drive to Salish Cliffs Golf Club for a round of golf. Salish Cliffs is located in Shelton, Washington in the Kamilche Valley of the Pacific Northwest.  Surrounded by stunning mountain views, lush forestry and rustic architecture this 72-Par layout offers world-class golf. Salish Cliffs is far more than a golf course. The full-service restaurant and shop within the expansive log/cedar clubhouse makes the play and stay option a very popular idea.  I’m going to look into a future opportunity where I can enjoy all the additional amenities of this beautiful course and report back.
