Devereux : Proper Threads

  Proper Threads

While at the PGA Show in Orlando, I was fortunate enough to meet and chat with Devereux’s Creative Director Robert Brunner. Being a new company I hadn't planned on visiting the Devereux Booth. But something attracted me to the booth and to my surprise it was a great experience. Not knowing much about the company, the only thing I knew was it was a new company that specializes in clothing.

Once in the booth, I was intrigued by the style and design of the product. So I began taking pictures of the booth and displays, when Robert approached me and we started talking. I explained to him that Devereux was last minutes add on, and I apologized because I really didn’t know much about the brand. By the time our talk was over I knew everything I needed to know about Devereux.

Adding personal touches to a review is imperative, I want to know the story behind the brand and share that with the people reading my post. When I shared that with Robert, he smiled and appeared to like the personal touch. One of the most impressive and inspirational facts Robert had shared was that the name Devereux is from his 90 year old grandmother. Fashion and style must run through the blood lines because at 90 she is still rocking high heels.

Now let’s get in to the really cool modern golf fashion that Devereux is bringing to golfers. First to be reviewed is the Brunner. It’s made of 65% Pima Cotton and 35% Polyester Blend. First thing that popped out to me was the signature pocket. The cut of the signature pocket adds a great touch. Other standouts in the Brunner are the button down collar and 4 button placket.  With the addiction of the Devereux logo on back of the collar and now you have an ACE!

Another great shirt is the Devereux Lindley. The Lindley is made of 96% Pima Cotton and 4% Spandex. This shirt has a closer fit and I was able to swing with no restriction. It features the Devereux Logo on the left chest and has a ribbed cut collar.

I’m going to keep a close eye on Devereux and so should you. I know they have some great releases coming soon. Here’s how you can keep up with Devereux:
