Travis Mathew - Late Spring '12

To no one’s surprise, Travis Mathew continues to set trends for the modern golfer transcending past just the golf course. Travis Mathew’s classy use of pink and blue as subtle accents in the Late Spring line, demonstrate the sophistication of their cutting edge style. As many brands are entertaining the use of bright colors in an attempt to capture the younger generations, I find that the gratuitous use of the bright colors tends to overtake the outfit and create many walking eyesores. The moderate use of accented colors in play at Travis Mathew allows it’s wearers to transition seamlessly from the golf course, to the office, and even out on the town.

The polos are made with pima cotton which has a soft stretch feel to compliment its progressive fit for the modern golfer. This isn’t your father’s baggy golf look anymore! The tailored fit around the torso and arms are a staple for Travis Mathew’s progressive golfer style.

The “Bells-Black” shorts exhibit comfort, practicality, and a touch of humor.

Comfort

The shorts have a light feel and are extremely comfortable.   They are made with a polyester/rayon blend with elastane.  Elastane happens to be a synthetic fiber that helps a fabric return to its original shape after being stretched.  This unique blend of fabric creates the light comfort feel while maintaining a superb fit.

Practicality

Travis Mathew has installed a subtle practicality in their golf shorts. These shorts come equipped with easily accessible back pockets with a faux flap to accent traditional style. These open and deep back pockets are perfect for casually storing your scorecard or, as it pains me to admit, extra golf balls for those necessary mulligan shots. With only faux flap buttons, it allows for easy access into the pocket without a need to unbutton a pocket or crowding the front pockets.

Humor
The “sorry for being awesome” tag on the inner fly is also a carefree attention grabber for careless bathroom attendees ;)

This late spring line’s use of vibrant colors uniquely standout, remaining refreshingly muted without being overpowering. Travis Mathew clothing makes a true statement for the fashionable business professional in style, fit, feel, and practicality.
