Antigua 72 Spring 17 Review

The new line of apparel from Antigua stretches to a new level in 2017, with the addition of spandex as a new fabric in its Men’s Spring 17 Collection. For this review I received a Domain, and Survey Polo. Alright let's get started.

The Domain is a stripped polo in Black and Gray, and the Survey is in Harbor Blue. At first I was kind of worried with the Domain Polo because of its darker color during this time of year in Florida. Then I read the tag; “Desert Dry” and, I was concerned for nothing. For those who aren’t familiar with Desert Dry, it’s “an exclusive moisture wicking fabrication developed to perform under all perspiration conditions to keep you dry and comfortable”. YES!! Both the Domain and Survey Polo are Desert Dry. The Domain polo was made up from 90% nylon and 10% spandex; while the Survey was 95% nylon and 5% spandex.   I played numerous rounds of golf in 80-90 degree temperatures and always felt dry and comfortable from the 1st tee to the 18th green. Both polo’s never felt sticky or clingy, and I never felt sweaty.

The Domain and Survey are my favorite from Antigua. The fit is one of the factors in them being a favorite. In past years Antigua Polo’s have been less form fitting for me. Maybe it’s the addition of spandex into the mix; I’m not sure, but bravo!

As in the past Antigua designs allow you to wear it on and off the golf course. I don’t know about you guys, but for me it’s a must. A lot of times things pop up before and after a round of golf and I want to be prepared. Adding spandex may have been a stretch but it worked out perfectly.
