I've been testing Wilsons new V6 irons for a few months and have been nothing but impressed with them. MB looks with CB forgiveness. Compact head and thin top line but easy to hit and extremely playable. Forged out of 8620 carbon steel and 20 grams of Tungsten throughout the set for optimal forgiveness across the set of irons. There is a growing trend in irons these days, easier. Even forged irons are becoming easier to hit and more amateur friendly. And the max-game irons are now ridiculously easy to hit. Then there are golfers in the middle that are either getting better or getting worse. With a very sleek back finish, the Wilson Ci11 irons will appeal to just about anyone looking for great looks and great play. The Ci11 irons are geared towards the mid-handicapper looking for some forgiveness of a cavity back but also the playability of a forged iron. Game play is superb, matched up to the true temper TX flighted iron shafts. The shafts offer a slightly higher launch angel to effortlessly get the ball vertical and eliminate unwanted side-spin. But this club isn't all about high-launch and forgiveness, the tight cavity, compact appearance and minimal offset make this iron workable for just about any shot you can throw at it.
