Ok, this might sound insensitive on my part but it's not. Trust me. OK, so Friday my buddy and I played 18. The problem is that when I tee off at 9-9:30 (after I take kids to school) I need to be done by 1. Generally this is doable BUT this time the starter paired us with two 80 year old guys. Nice guys but I drive the ball 290+ and it takes them 2-3 shots to get to my drive. When it takes us 5 minutes to play a hole, it takes them 15. The waiting and pace is painful as hell. I wish there were certain days and times for slow players to play. I also wish starters would pair like players to keep a good pace of play. I hate playing when I'm ansy from waiting all day.

TOO SLOW... GOTTA GOOOOOOOO!!!

I agree Corey with this. If you pair up someone, try and pair them up by skill level. Doesn't do ANYONE any good when the pairing takes place as you just described. The 80 year olds are probably feeling bad for holding your momentum back, and you're like "Lets go Uncle Senior" Hit the ball.
However, If I am playing FREE Golf, I have no room to complain LOL
