this thread pops up from time to time and i always read it and do nothing about it.. today is different
i am a 26 handicap (oob golf rated)
my current ball is generally Nitro, or TiTech. i prefer yellow ones.
I have no idea as to my swing speed, but i use a stiff shaft in my driver and regularly hit 220 -240.. sometimes a little more.. sometimes a little less.
training plan...
i have started playing evening rounds (9 holes after 5pm is the cheapest rate i can find) and i would have no problem hitting 2 balls as I play alone and there is nobody around to hold up if i was slow. i would play in a "best ball" format and rate each ball for distance, accuracy, and feel.
My game is improving, i have been recommended to move up to a better quality of ball by my club pro. I am getting better, now is the time to see how different balls play.

Current Ball: Bridgestone B330-RX

Handicap: fluctuates between 8 to 10

Estimated Swing Speed: 92-95 mph

Estimated Driver Distance: 210 to 245 depending on roll

Recent Balls played: Bridgestone B330-RXS, Bridgestone e-5, Titleist ProV1, Taylormade Penta

Testing Plan: I play 3 to 5 times per week and usually work in at least one range session that includes chipping and putting so I would certainly spent a lot of time with the test ball, I also would do a side by side test with other balls that would be considered direct competitors to the test ball. I have a flip video recorder for making videos and also a camera for pictures. I would post updates at least weekly and be available to answer any questions that might be asked by other forum members.

Current Ball: Callaway Tour iX or iS
Handicap: 9.6
Estimated Swing Speed: 104 mph
Estimated Driver Distance: 265 yards
Recent Balls played: Bridgestone 330S (2010 model) and e5/e6 during winter
Testing Plan: I have a putting green in my home, and I play 8-10 times a month. I am a regular at our courses short game practice area. It's pretty extensive offering several greens to hit into, from fairway lies to deep rough and sand traps. I'm there typically once a week for an hour+. I'd like to do ball-by-ball comparisons with the balls, for spin, distance and control. I also have the Callaway uPro to check distances for some real data analysis.

That's my plan...if you've read the review I did on SCOR wedges, I don't take shortcuts and I'm very thorough.

I would love to help!

Current Ball: Penta TP5, Top Flight Gamer V2, and Pro V1
Handicap: USGA 8.7
Est Swing Speed: 112-120
Est Driver Distance: over the last 2 weeks 303
Recent Ball Played: I am a bit of a tester already so this is probably only part of the list.

Pro V1, Pro V1x, Titleist NXT Tour, Burner Tour, Penta, bridgestone B330S, E6, and E7. Top Flight Gamer V2, Wilson(idk what type), and there are probably a few others.

Testing Plan:
Same as my plan for the EyeLine Testing thread. Take pictures, video, potentially double it with testing other products. I practice 3-5 times a week on the greens, and I play 2 rounds. I would start with the comparison to the Penta or Pro V1 and go from there. 3 putts, then 3 putts, 3 chips then 3 chips etc. Play 1 hole with one ball, next hole with the other ball. Im very thorough in my reports since that is what I typically do for work and I am an english communications major so I have extensive experience in reporting and accurate reporting. Give weekly updates and stay involved.

Thanks for this opportunity!
