So on a golf course you encounter the usual hazards. Water, sand, Thick Rough. Well 2 out of 3 Rounds I've played in Florida. I've encountered 2 gators. One was sitting in the middle of the fairway. I Layed up off the tee. Hit my second shot and proceeded to go way around it. The other last week. hanging outside a lake to the right. Made sure to stay clear. Anyone else have any interesting hazards they"ve seen?

Man I wish I had a crazy hazard story...but I don't. We just have boring Southern California golf. Coyotes, fighting geese and bees are about all we get.

While playing Grand National course in Alabama on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, after hitting a shot, I look over to see two animals running full speed for my golf cart.
They stopped underneath it and start growling and hissing.
What the hell?!? I had no idea what they were, but they were pretty ticked off.

As I walked towards the cart, the get even madder. My golf buddy, Bob Marsh, who is already out of the cart - looks at me and says "I've got the club I need, I'll see you on the green, oh..and bring my putter, would ya"???

I tried smacking my club on the ground, to scare them off - no good!
Eventually I made a running jump into the cart and hit the gas.
Turns out they were woodchucks! Who knew?!?

BTW, I didn't run them over, ok I did...but, what I mean is - I didn't hit them with the cart and injure them. They froze right where the were as I drove off.
