I played a course in Hawaii that was carved into the jungle. Any shot not in the fairway was gone! It was like playing in Jurassic Park.... without the raptors haha

I live in Florida. Seeing alligators is nothing any more what is a hazard is today my buddy hit his ball and it rolled in water hazard. Get ball with a retriever. Low an behold a large snake in the water. NOT Cool! Scared the crap out of me!

I'd prob be more scared of the snake than the gators. Go figure.

This reminded me of the Sunday before last Thanksgiving.
My regulars and I are playing the Eisenhower Golf Club's Blue Course. On hole #11, there's water that protects this Par 5 from most people going for it in two.
So, my buddy Bob decides he's going to lay up.

As he's figuring out his lay-up yardage, we realize there is a flock of turkey (like 15+) in the fairway.
I said to Bob, just aim for one of those turkey's, it'll leave you out about 100 yards.
He selects his iron and click...off his ball goes. It hits a turkey on the fly, right behind the eye socket. KILLS IT, Graveyard dead!

I called the Pro Shop to let them know there's a dead turkey on the fairway and to send someone out to get it. They asked if we ran it over with a golf cart? Nope, it was a 6-iron and Titleist!!!

Turns out a guy, two groups behind us picked up the turkey and took it home!

Florida has gators and Texas has snakes! I've seen a rattle snake near pampas grass and on the next hole 2 moccasins sitting on bridge you have to cross to green (left ball and took par).

Then I've driven out to my ball and apparently interrupted 15 million gnats of some sort as they started swarming. Took almost a full hole to shake them and still see dead ones here and there when I move bag. Btw, a swarm of anything sounds nasty in your ears. Loud.
