Well a few days after Christmas i received a package .In that package was 2 BestGrip Pistol Putter grips. No big deal right? Wrong! These grips are Proto Types of the perforation types they are considering. Both grips have stitching.

These are both beautiful great quality leather grips. Can you guess which I put on first? Look down to find out.

Yes I chose the tan one first. Why you might ask? For me it had a little better feel. By that in no way am I saying I didnt like the feel of the black. The tan has more perforations which actually allowed me to take off my glove and putt. I don't take off my glove to putt. However with the feel of the tan Grip it felt to me like I had the control as if I was wearing my glove.

I played several rounds with this grip and I love the feel and control while putting. If I had to chose 1 over the other it would be tough but I would stick with the tan Grip. That said I had a load of people at my local Golfsmith touch and feel both of the grips. The results where split down the middle. The one thing everyone agreed on is that both grips are awesome. In the end it will come down to preference .

As Proto type grips I cant tell you a price range or if and when they will be available .Bestgrips are more than grips so don't  let the name fool you. You can find some serious looking Scorecard holders as well as some nice Putter Shoes to match your grip. Check them out
