Review:

Cobra has designed a great “bang for the buck” set. They seem to have all of their bases covered with the FP’s, versatility, forgiveness, feel, look and design. This is the whole package and for a great price too!

The FP’s hit the ball fairly high, most irons you play will not have this type of ball trajectory and I love the ball flight of these irons. You will really like the solid feel that these provide… they make all shots feel like good ones. I currently play these irons in the standard length that come straight out of the box, NO custom fitting. Even without the custom fitting, I love these irons and they fit me perfect and my game perfect. Most do not associate Cobra with high quality, but you NEED to take a second look at these. Cobra is on the up and UP with their golf clubs. I have been a long time user of Cobra equipment and their clubs are getting better and better with every set that comes out.

Cobra has in previous years has not really been given a fair shot. I think the bulk of the negative comments come from those on each end of the scale. You hear the “their irons are too bulky” comments from low handicappers and the “they aren’t forgiving enough” from higher handicappers. There will never be one iron that will satisfy everyone. These are a great blend of playability and forgiveness. If you’re looking for soft feel and blade-like performance… look at something else. If you’re looking for the most forgiving iron out there… look elsewhere. If you want a great mix of playability and forgiveness… you’d be crazy not to try these.
