Callaway RAZR X Black Driver

EVALUATION:FINAL ANALYSIS:

At first glance, this RAZR X Black DOES look mean. Callaway boasts aerodynamic contours to reduce energy loss from drag during the downswing compared to previous models. This surface technology creates higher impact speeds for added distance.

A combination of VFT and Hyperbolic Face Technology creates a larger sweet spot and increases ball speeds across the titanium face for longer, more consistent distance. This technology saves weight that can be redistributed to the perimeter of the clubhead for a higher MOI. The chemical milling process selectively removes excess material for precision thickness control.

This is a stiff Fujikara Motore F8 weighing 60 grams with a mid torque and a low kickpoint. The grip is a 51 gram Callaway Universal Grip..

The driver’s crown contains over 12 million turbostratic carbon fibers, a revolutionary material which make the crown lighter and stronger than titanium. The RAZR X Black’s forged composite has allowed Callaway to control thickness, resulting in a clubhead that’s lighter but still has an extremely high MOI.
