Odyssey White Ice #1 Review
Putters - Odyssey

Thanks for taking the time to read my reviews, as I hope I can give you some insight and assistance on you future possible purchase of these clubs. Just for some background information so that you know what kind of golfer is testing these, here is my profile- I am 6 feet tall, 250 lbs; I have a 110 MPH club speed, and I have a steep downswing towards impact. I play blades for my own personal set, and I am a 5 handicap. I play standard loft, lie and length, with x-stiff shafts in all of my clubs. I am now using a Levitee Glove, and if you haven’t tried one of these then you re literally leaving easy strokes and consistency out of your game. So without further adieu, here are my thoughts on the Odyssey White Ice #1 Putter.

Looks- Odyssey has always had a more classic look, while tweaking their clubs in a way to make them a piece of contemporary art. I tested one of their classic looking blade putters, in the White Ice #1, and I loved it. Looking down at the club was nice, and it didn’t make me second guess my alignment at all. Overall, I rate looks of the Odyssey White Ice #1 putter at a 9/10.

Feel/Playability- Odyssey is one of those companies that cutomers buy because they know that they can trust them, and those beliefs do not change at all with the White Ice series. The feel that you get from the White Ice insert is second to none on insert putters, and it was one that I felt very comfortable with, even after using milled putters all of my life. the weighting in this putter is on the heavier side, which made my hands stay quieter and proved me to be more consistent. After tesiting the Odyssey White Ice #1 putter, I rate the feel and playability of it at an 8/10

Performance- Each and every time I rolled a putt, I liked the results. It took me a putt or two to get used to the ball jumping off of the face, but once I made a smoother stroke, I was able to roll the ball very consistently. Odyssey has always made very nice putters, and the White Ice series are no different. I would rate the performance of this putter at an 8/10.

Overall- After testing, I really enjoyed this putter. The nice weighting that is in the club head made for a very balanced putting stroke and more consistent rolls each time. This is definitely a putter for all levels, and I feel awesome rating the Odyssey White Ice #1 at an A-
