Ping In Series Craz-e Putter
Putters - Ping

Thanks for taking the time to read my reviews, as I hope I can give you some insight and assistance on you future possible purchase of these clubs. Just for some background information so that you know what kind of golfer is testing these, here is my profile- I am 6 feet tall, 250 lbs; I have a 110 MPH club speed, and I have a steep downswing towards impact. I play blades for my own personal set, and I am a 5 handicap. I play standard loft, lie and length, with x-stiff shafts in all of my clubs. I am now using a Levitee Glove, and if you haven’t tried one of these then you re literally leaving easy strokes and consistency out of your game. So without further adieu, here are my thoughts on the Ping In Series Craz-e Putter.

Looks- Well, if you’re buying the Craz-e, then you must like the look because it is definitely one to get used to. I am always a fan for trying something new, and this putter caught my eye. But for the normal golfer, I would have to rate the looks of the Ping In Series Craz-e Putter at a 6/10.

Feel/Playability- The weighting in the Ping Craz-e putter is definitely not what I was expecting. With the head of the putter being so large and awkward, I was thinking it would be nice and heavy, but I was fooled. To make this putter feel comfortable to me, I ended up having to put some lead tape on the back of it. Off of the face, the ball felt like a soft rock. It wasn’t the worst feel I have had, but it definitely wasn’t the best. I’ll rate the feel of the Ping In Series Craz-e putter also at a 6/10.

Performance- For not being the softest face, or the most normal looking head, I was able to get the ball rolling with this putter nicely. I didn’t have many jumps off of the face, so it was fairly consistent. The one area that I couldn’t get used to was aligning the ball and club, and I believe that it is because the shaft has a very weird bend to it. Safe to say that it is probably because I’m not used to this style, but I just didn’t like the shaft at all. Performance of the Ping In Series Craz-e would be rated at a 7/10.

Overall- Overall, this putter isn’t for me. I tried it on a whim, and just didn’t ever get used to it. I like the roll that I was getting, but the harder feel off of the face and the difficulty I had with the shaft and alignment steers me away from keeping this club. The final grade for the Craz-e Putter is a C+.
