Nike VR Pro LE Driver
Back: Cobra AMP Next: Nike VR_S

The Nike VR Pro Limited Edition proved to be an excellent club after coming through the trenches of club wars. The heavier head/ shaft combo felt almost perfect for all testers, and control was not really an issue. The VR PRO LE finished in second place for average club head speed at an excellent 110.2 mph! The VR PRO LE also finished very well with an excellent rating for distance coming in at an average of 265.2 yards. Performance is always critical, and this driver stepped up to the plate for us. The ball flight was almost perfect, and Nike’s compression channel on the sole helped create a hot, springy face for the ball to jump off of. The shape of the head and length of the hosel gives this driver a tour performance and playability.

With a 2
nd place finish for average club head speed and a top finisher for overall average distance, the VR Pro LE also consistently appeared in many testers top 3 in the areas of control, longest overall drives, and lowest RPM/ ball spin. Because of the steady excellent performance across the board, the Nike VR Pro Limited Edition won the CLUB WARS 2012 Players Choice Award for drivers!

The Nike VR Limited Edition is a true winner and we recommend it for scratch golfers to 9 handicaps.

Some players may find a trjectory too low to see distance gains with this club. If you don't have a problem getting the ball in the air or like a lower penetrating flight but also with great workability, this driver is for you. It generates low spin numbers from it's great stock shaft offering. If you want all of the great things the driver offers, but want more lift, look into custom shaft offerings.

Simple yet elegant looks on the soul really shape what this club really is, an elegant performer. Nike kept the proven compression channel on another Vr Pro model, to keep the tour level of distance.

With Nike's new NexCor face technology the VR Pro LE can achieve greater ball speeds and more playability than previous models.

The Vr Pro LE is mounted on to a new MRC Diamana 'Ahina shaft. The shaft is light with a stiffer mid and tip section than past Vr Pro Drivers

With a nice tear drop head shape with a tad shape that will remind people of a hybrid head shape, it just screams shot shaping capability.
