Garmin Approach G6 is the latest in the Garmin Approach Line-up. FEATURES Digital Scorecard- This is a great feature. I really liked that I was able to score using different options like Stroke Play, Stableford, Skins as well as Match Play with adjustable handicaps. I keep score during my normal rounds of play and this feature is a time saver. Track Your Stats- This feature keeps track of your fairways hit, greens in regulation and putts per round. You want to get an update after a hole? No problem you can check your stats anytime during your round. Want to be able to see your progress well go download and print them. It is that easy. Club Averages- I really enjoyed the unit will continuously update and average how far you hit your clubs. I was pleasantly happy with the capability of naming my clubs. So get creative. Maps With Layup Arcs- Shows you on the map an arc to 100, 150, 200. When you are 250 yards out it even gives you layup distances. Customized Distances- Feature allows you to mark a distance and keep it. Like a distance from a water hazard. It's a really neat feature to keep you out away from trouble spots or even a place where you know you can nail it to the pin . Review Your Round- Gives you a review of your round .With it you are shown number of putts per hole, clubs used, distances hit, fairways hit and missed to the left or right, greens in regulation, time round took to play and the distance traveled during your round. When I saw the miles for the first time I couldn't believe it. Great way to know how far you are walking during a round. Overview The Approach Garmin G6 has turned up the heat. This unit and all of its new features are amazing. The unit is rechargeable, which means no more batteries to buy. No more spending a small fortune for batteries . The charge on unit is up to 15 hours. I have played 4 rounds before having to recharge the unit. Big Plus! The size of G6 makes it a great option to wear on my belt. It is hardly noticeable, and definitely didn't get in my way. I liked wearing unit, instead of constantly having to set it down to hit. The G6 comes with over 27,00 courses preloaded. I literally got to the course turned unit on hit play and course appears. Best yet no paying for a Subscription. No more fees or having to download. It was all there for me. The Approach G6 is a Great addition to the Garmin Family. I would recommend this unit to anyone. The retail Price of the Garmin G6 is $299.99 For more information on Garmin Products visit: http://www.garmin.com/us/ Follow Garmin on - Facebook : http://www.facebook.com/#!/Garmin Twitter : @garminconnect ( 10 Votes ) |
