Last issue of Golf Digest, Master Luke revealed that he rarely practices the same shot three times in a row while around the chipping green. He stated that you never hit the same shot twice in a row on the course during a round, so you should practice more like you play. It encourages creativity and shotmaking as different lies and different clubs produce - wait for it... - different results.

Also, food for thought from the venerable Yogi Berra: "94% of short putts never go in, and the other 10% don't make it either."
