A good alternative is to take an old club, take the grip off, fill it with BB's and re-grip it.

Buddy bought a tour striker at the Denver Golf Expo last year and he likes my BB filled club better.

Ron,

What does filling a club with BB's do exactly, besides the obvious of making the club heavier?

How the tour striker came about was that he ground down an old 7 iron he had for a buddy. Got an old iron? grind it down, save some cash

but honestly, when I first saw the commercials and read about these I was interested to see how they work. Anyone have some real feedback on 'em?

Making it heavier makes you much more aware of your swing, you can really feel your wrists break at the top and it makes you much more aware of what is going on at the bottom of your swing, helps you really get the feel for making solid contact

I have swung one probably 25 times. I guess I already hit down on the ball correctly because I was hitting awesome shots with it. My friend that was with me was hitting awful shots though, and eventually adjusted to hit a few good ones. I guess it can do what it's supposed to.

How about the medicus stuff.... Those dual hinged drivers etc... Has anyone tried them out
I dont know how convincing the training aids are.. I feel like a lot of them are a con... Any opinions or guidance would be appreciated

Medicus I feel is definitely a scam. That thing always bends on me even if I swing normal where I would hit it flush. Never understood how it works.
