If you're getting ready to head to GG or any other fine retail establishments, I would advise you to be wearing your sunglasses as you go past the apparel section. The new Puma Ricky Fowler line is in stores and WOW is it bright

As if last years stuff wasn't bright enough I like what excitement it brings to the game though. Anything but boring to say the least.

I'm very satisfied with the evolution of this sport.

I totally agree Ace, we were saying the same thing back when Johnny Miller started with his crazy pants. I love the fact that these young guns are so not afraid to push it to the limit. I'll be interested to see if they tone it down for Augusta..

Most certainly! Oh, and don't forget the little hotties on LPGA... they've been catching my eyes with the matching (seemingly) neon little golf skirts and matching puma golf shoes That hot Pink combo on the right girl and "WOW!".

Golfsmith had them a few weeks ago. Bright is right.. I think I might get some to get an advantage of blinding the guys I play with

Most all Golf SuperStores and golf shops receive new lines of equipment at the same time. I'm not a fan of either store (GolfSmith or Golf Galaxy). I prefer to buy from my local pro shop and keep the money in the hands of the people who help me at a much more intimate level in the golf world.

I've found that I know more about the products that I go to seek than most Big Box Golf Super Stores and that is enough to turn me away. Not to mention 2 for 2 errors when ordering from their websites with the shipment of incorrect product.

Does anyone else like to keep things local or do most prefer the big Super Stores?

I'm a local pro shop guy, but Golf Galaxy and their parent store Dicks both sent me coupons for free balls from Maxfli so I went today and took advantage of that offer.Otherwise I try to buy from local golf courses. My clubs, I have a friend who re-grips, so very rarely do I go to the box. And all the clothing I believe in going right to the manufacturer.

I'm not saying to boycott the big box stores, I just prefer, as do you, to buy local. At the end of the day, we're all looking to get the most bang for our buck. It's amazing that whether you have $100 bucks in the bank or $100,000,000... We're all the same in wanting to get the most for our pennies.

I, too, couldn't possibly turn down a righteous coupon or discount on something I'm looking to buy... It's like my Clicgear cart... I happen to know it's wholesale price is $130 per cart. They are sold at a $199 price point at the retail / consumer level. I bought mine @ Golfsmith because they were matching a coupon from another local sporting goods store that offered 35% off ANY 1 item. I essentially paid wholesale cost for my cart.

I wouldn't have even tried to do this to my local pro shop... Spinning their wheels for them not to make a penny wasn't something I wanted to do... I have no remorse about seeking out the big box for this bargain though

Thanks for the heads up. I sort of wonder periodically how I would look dressed as a pylon. LOL... seriously I don't mind him or his threads.

At our union tournament we have a best dressed prize and as you can imagine over the years it has morphed into a most outrageous prize. I think some of the new Puma gear could give Loudmouth a run for the money. I'm thinking orange from head to toe, not sure about the orange Puma cleats shoes though
