I would certainly wear these in the summmer time for an afternoon round. I just don't like how the right flipflop stretches when I hit balls in my regular flipflops.

I just see my foot sliding all over on a drive with these things. All though I might want to hang out in the sand traps more. at least in the summer that is.

Lateral stability is my biggest problem with this idea. I've even had shoes that didn't have enough laterally support that we useless as golf shoes.
