USGC Suspends Season

Date: July 5, 2020
From: United States Golf Challenge

The United States Golf Challenge and Tito's Handmade Vodka are saddened to announce that the 2020 qualifying season and National Championship must be postponed until 2021. The evolving situation of Covid-19 has created much uncertainty, making the chances of providing a quality experience very slim. The health and safety of our players and their families are a top priority during these unprecedented times. This difficult decision was made jointly between the USGC and title sponsor, Tito's Handmade Vodka.

To all the teams that have registered and paid for either a National Qualifier or the National Championship, we thank you for your support and your entries will be refunded promptly.

We thank the golf courses and clubs that have graciously organized and promoted the National Qualifiers. We hope the remainder of the golf season is prosperous for you and we hope to work with you in the future.

Looking ahead to 2021, we will begin planning the tournament schedule very soon. The model of the USGC, sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka, is going to be shifting toward regional 36-hole qualifiers. We will strive to deliver memorable experiences for our players. As the exclusive U.S. organization that qualifies players for Team USA in the International King's Cup, we look to assemble the finest team to date.
